We stayed in an old Japanese house, clean and spacious. Great location in an exciting neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Good transportation nearby.
Everything was fantastic.

During my Easter stay at this guest house, I loved the traditional Japanese style of the accommodations and the comfortable sleeping sheets. I really appreciated the location - being close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants made exploring the city so much easier.
The one negative aspect of the guest house was the limited bathroom facilities. With only one shower and a few sinks, it was sometimes difficult to get a chance to freshen up.

Had a wonderful Xmas experience at this traditional Japanese-style inn! the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and they made sure our stay was special. the location was also perfect for exploring the sights and sounds of the city, with easy access to public transportation and nearby dining options. Plus, the cozy and comfortable sleeping arrangements made for a truly authentic experience.
That there was only one shower available, which could be inconvenient during peak hours. given the charm and character of the inn, it was a minor issue that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the stay.

Located in an old alley, it was only a 3-minute walk to the subway Gion~ which was convenient for exploring the city. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep on the super comfortable bed. the staff was super friendly, offering us great recommendations for sightseeing. We loved the traditional feel of the house and the possibility of spotting Geishas walking down the street.
Sharing a bathroom with other guests was not ideal.
